Why I Built This

In 2001, a car rear-ended me at a stoplight.

Barely a scratch on the bumper. I got out, traded info, drove home annoyed. That was it.

The next morning I could barely move.

Here's the part that still stings. I was a personal trainer. The body was my job. I knew it better than most people ever will. And I was stuck.

I did what anyone would do. Physical therapy. Chiropractic. Cortisone shots. Weeks became months. Nothing touched it.

I finally saw an orthopedic surgeon. He pulled up my scans and said the words I'd been dreading. Degenerative discs. Bulging discs. Surgery. Thirty percent success rate.

Thirty percent.

I drove home and sat in my driveway for a long time.

I was looking at the end of my career. My income. The thing I was known for. The thing I was proud of. All of it was slipping through my hands, and the best medicine had to offer me was a coin flip with worse odds than a coin flip.

That night I started reading.

I don't remember how I found it. But somewhere around two in the morning I opened a book called Anatomy Trains by Thomas Myers, and everything I thought I knew about the human body cracked open.

He was writing about fascia.

Fascia is the web of connective tissue that wraps every muscle, every organ, every bone. It holds you together head to toe. And back then, nobody in fitness was talking about it. Nobody in rehab was treating it. It wasn't on a single chart in a single clinic I'd walked into.

No wonder nothing worked. They were all treating pieces of me. Nobody was treating the web.

I started experimenting on myself. I built a sequence from what I was learning. Slow at first. Then something shifted. Then more. Then one morning I woke up and moved freely for the first time in years.

No surgery. No shots. No more PT.

That was twenty-five years ago.

Since then, I've worked with hundreds of people who came to me the same way I once was. They'd tried PT. They'd tried chiropractic. They'd been told to get cut open. They were scared, exhausted, and ready to give up on their own bodies.

Every single one who followed the method saw their symptoms decrease. Every one. Most got back to lives they thought were behind them.

If you're reading this, you've probably already tried the things that didn't work. I know that feeling. I lived in it.

You're not broken. Nobody has just been looking in the right place.

I have.

How every session works

Every session follows the same sequence — not because it's routine, but because the sequence is the science. Myofascial release resets the fascial system. Core integration wakes up the deep stabilizers that hold your spine safe — your core isn't your abs, it's the entire system. Mobility work moves your joints through their full range, not just the range they've been stuck in. Then we train: the seven fundamental human movement patterns with corrective exercises specific to your body, loaded strength work in your restored ranges, and a finishing sequence that leaves your body organized, not depleted.

All of it happens in my private fitness studio, just the two of us. Yoga is the yin, kettlebells are the yang — you find balance through strength and flexibility.

And for clients who want to go deeper — into the nervous system, into the energy body — breathwork, meditation, and energy work are available by request. That's where the work becomes truly transformative.

What clients say

The real deal when it comes to helping you understand how to train and why to train. Helped me manage my back pain and prevent it from coming back. I spent countless hours and dollars at physical therapists and personal trainers with very little results, mostly cookie cutter stuff. Dan taught me how to workout properly and it honestly changed my life. Can't say enough about him!
I've been training with Dan for about five years now. I originally started to see him to work on lower back pain and a knee injury from old injuries. He cured them. Since then he has helped me work out every physical ailment I've gotten. Before working with him I would have to get massages, acupuncture, and go to the chiropractor regularly. Not anymore — maybe once or twice a year now just to stay in tune. He is the best.
